Hello. It is a hori of the manager.

This media is the "principle of authentication", and basically tells you about the authentication (licensing) method necessary for selling in Japan, but in the first place, the Chinese import business is the origin.

Importing products that require certification is also a part of the Chinese import business if you take it broadly, so I will tell you how to start the Chinese import business.

In the first place, why is the Chinese import business recommended as a side job, after all buying and selling goods is a big standard of business.

There are various businesses such as writing blogs, doing affiliates, launching and watching services, but the experience of buying and selling things is exactly the royal road to improving business power. In addition, I think that the Chinese import business is basically able to start with a small investment amount, and that new business opportunities are likely to be created as we continue to do business.

If you are a company (the president's side business, a company project) or an individual (salaried worker), one of the first things to do is look for a local partner when you choose the Chinese import business as a side job.

Why do I need to find a local partner (agent)?

It is possible to contact Chinese sales representatives from Alibaba, Ali Express, etc. and start trading. To be honest, however, these people often work between pocket money earners. It is common for the product that arrives to be full of defective products.

At the earliest days, we purchased directly from Alibaba and others, but I remember well that 15 out of 50 were defective products, so I almost fainted.
Some people said that it was still good, and all the products purchased 100 were defective.

In such a state, it becomes a problem before the business.

So why don't you contact the China factory directly? I think that there are some people who think.

Of course, it is a positive attack method, but if you replace it with yourself, will you respond properly if you suddenly have an inquiry in broken Japanese or English from overseas?

Most of them pay in advance or defer the gate.

In addition, there are many intermediate companies, not factories themselves, that are exhibited at Alibaba, Ali Express, etc., and it is often that they do not end up at the factory after all.

If you have some capital, you may be able to take it to the factory on a regular date, but it still takes time and effort. In addition, if you want to take the first step, it may be difficult to prepare it so suddenly.

In such a case, it is useful to have a local partner in China

Of course, I am fluent in Chinese, so I will approach the person in charge of the factory more and more and proceed with business negotiations. Since they also negotiate when there is a defective product, the factory side often responds properly without making strange things.

First of all, it can be said that the first step in importing China is to create a foundation for doing such a business.

Language is not a problem, but enthusiasm of the business operator and the person in charge is important.

When it comes to having a business partner in China (overseas), almost all of the first thing to say is that you can't speak (Chinese). Of course, if you don't know the situation, you may come up with that idea, but basically there is no problem only in Japanese.

There are many local partners who can speak Japanese, so all you have to do is find them. Also, in my personal opinion, it is better to find a local who can speak Japanese than to try to speak the local language poorly.

The reason is that you can speak Japanese is only pro-Japanese. Chinese people are so good that they have the opportunity to learn a variety of languages. Among these many languages, I have a favorable feeling for Japan just by choosing Japanese as the target of learning.

Of course, it is not 100%, but many of them are kind to Japanese people, so it is easy to work. Rather, I think that if you try to do business in the other party's ring such as Chinese forcibly, you will often suffer from pain.

As you can see if you replace this with yourself, it is self-evident that Japanese people are easier to work with each other than foreigners who speak broken Japanese.

There are Japanese agents who can speak Chinese, but there are many cases where the habit of the person's humanity and way of thinking appears, and the intention and feelings here are not transmitted to the Chinese.

In my opinion, when interacting with China (overseas), I think it is better to focus on local people. Of course, it is also good to use local Japanese, but if possible it is a sub.

And the most important thing is not to speak a word, but to do business and make money with yourself and the other party (partner), to enjoy the business, and what is done is something that propagates to the other party. I want to do business with those people over there.

Japanese common sense doesn't work overseas.

This is really important, but basically Japanese and Chinese people have fundamentally different ways of thinking. For example, even if the delivery date is made, Japanese people think that the delivery date must be absolutely observed, and Chinese people make efforts to protect it, but if it is not good, they think that it is unavoidable.

Of course, that's not 100% so in both. It is just an example.

Also, the Chinese factory is busier than the Japanese think. China is said to be the factory of the world, but there are really a lot of orders from all over the world. At that time, Japanese small orders tend to be defernated.

However, it is common sense of the world.

In such a case, Chinese partners who understand the feelings of Japanese people to some extent will make as much adjustments as possible. On the other hand, Chinese people are very bosomy, and once they get along, they are also people who really do their best for the other party,

To be honest, Chinese people often feel more in-laws than Japanese people.

On the other hand, there are still Japanese who look down on Chinese people and take an arrogant attitude, but Chinese people take great care of face and hate being made a fool of. Of course, even Japanese people will have it at the root until later if they make fun of themselves.

Such a person needs to be careful because it is easy to cut by the guest. I've seen people like that. There are no borders in business.

Everything is on an equal basis for business.

Knowing this background, the first step in Chinese business is to build harmonious relationships with partners and factories without imposing common sense from The Japanese.

Rather than seemingly as a customer, let your partner refer you to an acquaintance.

Chinese people are also kind to customers at first glance because they are also at work, but they will make it better if it is an introduction from a familiar customer, and they will give you a good person in charge. To be honest, For better or worse, China is also a relative society,

It is also a culture of taking care of customers.

There is little awareness that it is a virtue to treat everyone the same way like in Japan. Rather, it leads to generous services to existing customers, and there is a strong awareness that it does not crush the face of the existing customers introduced.

This may be the same in Japan, but I think you can remember that it is remarkable, especially in China.

First of all, let's go to China and work and touch the air in the field

Many people may have only traveled abroad, but China in particular is one of the closest foreign countries from Japan, so it is relatively easy to go. Most flights go straight.

Of course, since it is a foreign country, it is a completely different atmosphere from Japan when it arrives at the airport, but it is good.

Let's get in touch with that atmosphere and know that business is progressing in an environment that I did not know.

And let's get along more and more by eating (spree) with local partners. By doing so, you will get used to this place and it will be easier to work. After all, if you are a Chinese who can speak Japanese, communication with each other will increase faster.

If this is a Japanese agency, after all, the place will be different, but the business will be carried out between Japanese people, and in the true sense of the truth, it is not possible to enter China.

In my personal opinion, most of the people who fail or fail doing Chinese business are only Japanese people doing the Chinese import business.

Because it is China, you can not move on unless you do business with Chinese people, and of course it is Chinese who are really reliable when it comes to China.

I think we should understand this from an early age.

If you are busy, we will act as an agent

However, there may be many people who are busy with their main business and can not make time to have relationships with Chinese partners. Also, you may not know how to get to know your Chinese partner in the first place.

We also broker the work of ordering chinese partners. You can leave everything to us in Japanese and Japanese, and we can ask the Chinese side to do the work.

Of course, fees will also be incurred, but considering the labor and time costs, I think it is an investment that is not high at all.

In addition, we will also set up a local meeting with a Chinese partner, so please feel free to contact us about that.

From next time onwards, I will tell you about how to proceed with business in China from various angles.
